Thomas had to sit and read the article again. He couldn’t believe what was seeing. The daughter of his old friend Joan was dead. It couldn’t be happening again… He started to look around his loft, searching for an answer but the only thing he saw was his tired reflection.

He was a tall, handsome and serious-looking man, very observant and passionate about his work. He also was a very curious and stubborn person who didn’t like to leave things at half.


Behind this easy-going appearance was hidden a past that he couldn’t live through. After a happy and easy youth in Formentera, an idyllic small island in the Balearic Sea, very near to Ibiza, the reality shook him. Amy, who was for then his platonic love, was murdered and the police didn’t find the murderer. He couldn’t understand how a person could kill someone and don’t be condemned for it. He wanted to finish the cases the police was leaving outside. At that time, he decided to be a private detective. He moved to Barcelona for professional affairs and he never came back.


Since he began at his work, he had never left a rope in his cases. He was the best in his work and was investing all his time in it so he never left time for love. He promised himself that wouldn’t allow anybody to feel the frustration he felt with Amy’s murder.

He wanted to listen everything he could about that night and Jana’s  life: he wanted to know about her friends, the high school, her social networks, her family, and all that was involved with the case. And the unique way to do it was calling Joan:
